This is the tale of how I became my niece's foster parent. After a year, I can become a guardian, but for now it's just one day at a time!
I'm a 33 year old law student, and she is a beautiful, smart, and sometimes sassy 13 year old...It's bound to be a good time!

Day 4 - 07.16.2012
Our first "weak moment" - she told me at McDonald's that she hates being with me. She doesn't want to be watched 24/7....
Then, our grandfather went into the hospital and we were there all night....
