This is the tale of how I became my niece's foster parent. After a year, I can become a guardian, but for now it's just one day at a time!
I'm a 33 year old law student, and she is a beautiful, smart, and sometimes sassy 13 year old...It's bound to be a good time!

Day 19 - Tuesday, 07.31.2012 - Happy Birthday, Sweet 14!
She is well beyond her years, and so while I want her enjoy every last bit of her childhood, I know she doesn't want me to baby her...She's very sensitive about that!
God bless you! She couldn't have a better role model or anyone who loves her more! Remember "it takes a village" and let me, and others who truly care, help you! Grandmas can play an importsnt role too, and adore spending time with granddaughters- they keep us young!
